Data migration starts at ₹8,999 for up to 5,000 products. The redirect map for your old URLs is quoted after a free audit, because its size depends on how many pages hold rankings. A new store build is ₹85,000 for Starter, or ₹60,000 for Advanced as a launch offer.
Products with variants and images, collections, customers, past orders and reviews, for up to 5,000 products. Your WooCommerce store stays live throughout. The redirect map is quoted separately.
No. Flying Star Technologies is not GST registered, so no GST is added to our invoices.
No. Your Shopify plan is billed by Shopify directly to you, from about ₹1,994 a month on Basic. The store and its billing stay in your name.
Because its size varies enormously. A small store may need a few dozen redirects, while one camera retailer had 656 old URLs still holding rankings. We quote it once we have seen your real URL list.
No. ₹60,000 is the Advanced build, which lists at ₹1,25,000, offered as a launch price. Starter stays at ₹85,000, so the offer is more build for less, not a cheaper Starter.
No. The price is agreed in writing before work starts, against a written scope. Anything you ask for outside that scope is priced separately and you decide.
It can still move. The import is scripted, so we quote larger catalogues on the real product count after the free assessment.
A growing WooCommerce store typically spends around ₹20,250 a month on server, security, backups, CDN, premium plugins and emergency fixes. Shopify Basic starts from about ₹1,994 with hosting, security and CDN included, a typical saving of ₹18,256 a month. Your own figure depends on your host and plugins.
Yes. We audit your WooCommerce store and tell you what moves, what it costs and which old URLs hold rankings. There is no obligation.
A standard store of up to about 300 products is usually live in around twelve working days from when your content reaches us, and a migration adds roughly three to six working days. Your timeline is written into the quote.
Four. Audit your WooCommerce store, build Shopify and import everything in parallel, map and redirect every old URL, then test and go live when you approve.
No. Your WooCommerce store keeps taking orders while Shopify is built alongside it. The only change is when the domain is pointed, and the redirects are already in place by then.
Access to your WooCommerce store or its exports, your logo and brand colours, and your policy pages. If you have Google Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools, access to those helps us find every URL that earns traffic.
Yes. You review the full store and place a real test order before the domain moves. Nothing changes for your customers until you approve.
Yes, all over India. The work runs on calls, WhatsApp and a written scope. Stores in Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai can also meet us in person.
We handle the domain connection with you at go-live, after the redirects are in place and you have approved the store.
Yes. The product import differs by platform, but the redirect map, the SEO fields and the store build are the same work whatever you are leaving.
No. Products with variants and images, collections, customers, past orders and reviews all move across, and every import is checked against your WooCommerce source afterwards.
Customer records move across. Passwords cannot be transferred between platforms, so customers set a new password on Shopify, usually through an account invite email.
Yes. Reviews are part of the migration and are imported into your Shopify review setup.
Yes. Variants move with their prices, SKUs and images, and we check real samples rather than trusting import counts.
Yes. Your categories are rebuilt as Shopify collections, and their old category URLs are redirected to the new collection pages.
Pages and blog posts can move to Shopify, where pages live under /pages/ and posts under /blogs/. Their old URLs are redirected like everything else.
No. It is scripted, so product count changes the checking time far more than the moving time. Every write is verified against the source catalogue.
Check the values, not whether the field looks filled. Some import tools fill barcode and SKU with generated junk; the tell is a 13 digit timestamp. On one migrated catalogue, 78% of products carried these placeholders.
Not if the redirects are done properly. WooCommerce uses /product/ and Shopify uses /products/, so nothing matches by accident. We map every old URL to its Shopify page and set 301 redirects before the domain moves.
Ranking pages return 404 and the traffic does not come back by itself. On one store, 675 dead WooCommerce URLs still held about two thirds of every click the site had recorded.
Shopify uses fixed prefixes: /products/, /collections/, /pages/ and /blogs/. WooCommerce uses /product/, /product-category/ and plain slugs, and many Indian stores add suffixes like -india. Every ranking URL needs a deliberate map.
No. Shopify URL prefixes are fixed. 301 redirects are the way to carry your rankings and backlinks across.
Only where it is safe. We match exact handles first, then model numbers and variant words, then brand and category pages. Fuzzy matching is never used: at a 0.82 similarity score it paired a Nikon Z6 III with a Z7 II.
Shopify supports large redirect lists and bulk import from a CSV file. One store we fixed runs 654 redirects from its old WooCommerce URLs.
Often not. On one migrated catalogue, 2,377 of 2,686 products had no SEO title after the import. We rewrite those fields, because Google otherwise falls back to the raw product title.
Many Shopify themes add your store name to every page title, spending around 13 of the 60 characters Google shows. Dropping it on product pages returns that space to every product title.
Submit the new sitemap to Google and Bing, spot check old URLs return 301s to the right pages, watch Search Console for 404s, and confirm Merchant Center products are approved if you run Shopping ads.
Yes, on the Advanced build: Product, FAQ and Breadcrumb schema, so search engines and AI assistants read your catalogue as structured data.
No, and be wary of anyone who does. We can guarantee the technical work, like redirects that preserve rankings and correct SEO fields, but positions depend on competition nobody controls.
Usually empty SEO titles and descriptions, so Google shows the raw product title. On one store, products ranked in positions 5 to 9 for brand and model searches but earned almost no clicks until the fields were written.
For most growing stores that do not want to run a server, yes. Shopify runs hosting, security, SSL, CDN and checkout for you. WooCommerce gives more control, but you maintain everything yourself.
Stay if your site is mainly content with a small shop attached, if you rely on custom WordPress functionality with no Shopify equivalent, or if you already have a developer keeping the server secure and fast.
Shopify handles hosting, CDN and platform speed for you. WooCommerce speed depends on your host, caching and plugins, and speed fixes often undo themselves after the next update.
Shopify manages platform security and PCI compliance. On WooCommerce, security is your job, through plugins and updates on a widely targeted platform.
Fixed URL patterns, a monthly plan paid to Shopify, possible transaction fees on some plans with third-party gateways, and a simpler blog than WordPress. Apps also bill monthly, which is why we build common features in Liquid.
Yes. Wholesale pricing, B2B customer accounts and bulk ordering can be set up on Shopify, often without an expensive third-party app.
We set up Cashfree, Razorpay or PayU on Shopify, with UPI and cards through the gateway.
Yes. Cash on delivery is configured alongside your online payment gateway.
Yes. GST and tax settings for India are configured as part of the store build, for your own selling. Separately, we do not charge GST on our invoices as we are not GST registered.
Yes. Shopify Markets handles multiple currencies natively, without the complex plugin setup it needs on WooCommerce.
Shipping zones and rates are set up fresh on Shopify as part of the build, matching how you ship today.
Fewer than most stores. Forms, offer tickers, size guides, badges and custom fonts are usually sold as monthly apps; we build them in Shopify Liquid instead, saving up to $78 a month across those six.
We list every plugin and the job it does during the audit, then decide for each one: a Shopify built-in feature, a vetted app, or custom Liquid in your theme.
Payment gateways, shipping aggregators and third-party review platforms. We tell you which before you commit, rather than implying everything can be theme code.
Yes, it is built in. Note that Shopify only emails marketing-subscribed contacts; on one store, 51 of 68 abandoned checkouts had never been emailed because of that consent rule.
Yes, on the Advanced build, including product types and categories that feed Google Shopping.
A theme from the official Shopify Theme Store, customised to your brand. The Advanced build adds custom Liquid sections, bundles, cross-sell and upsell.
Every build includes handover training. Support runs 30 days after launch on Starter and 60 days on Advanced.
You do. The Shopify account, domain, theme and data are all in your name, with nothing to transfer if you ever leave.
Yes. Handover training covers adding products, editing collections, running discounts and handling orders, so you do not need a developer for everyday changes.
Yes. Much of our migration work is repair: missing redirects, empty SEO fields, placeholder barcodes and broken brand pages on stores moved by someone else.
No. Case studies on this site describe stores by what they sell and their size, never by name.
